Keys, locks, & lockboxes

Nothing is more frustrating on a showing than to have to hunt for a lockbox that isn't where instructions stated or finding the key missing from the lockbox or the wrong type of lockbox. Directions need to be clear on key location. Keys should be tested to make sure they work. Every second that a lockbox or lock doesn't work per instructions or missing instruction may result in frustration on the part of the buyer or showing agent. It also maybe seen as a lack of caring or an alert to watch for other "broken" items that may need to repair and may have the buyer starting a repair or to do list before walking in the door. Or worse having the buyer leave and possibly never returning and loosing a potential sale.

Lights, camera, action. Show your home in its best light.

Help sell your home. Light the walkway and entry door and yard. Open the blinds, turn on the lights, add lights or lamps where needed. Avoid candles that can be fire hazards with breezes or inadvertently knocked over or bumped into. Please don't leave signs everywhere asking for lights to be turned off. Showing instructions should be sent to showing agents prior to showings to avoid clutter and debris blocking the buyers view.
